Description
A challenging, scenic run through the southern Utah desert adjacent to Zion National Park. The course includes 5 steep climbs onto mesas that offer incredible views of the varied geological features of the area. 32 hour cut off (34 hours with the 4am early start option.) 100K finishers medallions presented to runners that log in as many miles on the course but don't finish the 100 miles (No DNF's for anyone completing at least 100k of the course). Hand crafted belt buckles made from materials gathered on the course awarded to 100 mile finishers. After getting some rest, runners return for the post-race festivities on Saturday evening, including dinner, drinks, awards ceremony, and live music at the Zion Canyon Brew Pub. Pre-race meal is a wood-fired pizza made to order for each runner.
