A great course will be made even greater by lengthening the 6.5 mile loop from
last year to a 10 mile loop. The extra 3.5 miles consists of some great new

Start time for both races distances is 7:00 am. There will be a mandatory 6:45 am pre-race briefing. Two choices: 50K or 50M. The course starts/finishes at Holt Pond parking lot on Noon Hill Road in Medfield, MA, winding through Noon Hill Reservation. A beautiful but challenging circuit consisting of mostly single track trail with varied terrain. With a dirt road into the starting area, no road crossings, and very few house sightings during the run, you will truly feel like you're running in the wilderness, not in a suburb about 15 miles from Boston! This race is an oasis in a month that is a virtual desert with respect to trail race options in New England and is perfectly positioned for those training for a late summer or fall trail ultra. The number of runners will be limited to 40 for both races combined so act fast if you want to take part. Of your $25 entry fee, $9 will be donated to the Trustees of the Reservation, the not-for-profit organization that owns and maintains the reservation. The total contribution from all runners will be matched by a personal donation to the Trustees from the race director! THERE ARE NO REFUNDS, NO TRANSFERS AND NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT.
