We are low-key, low-frills, high-fun, and high-camaraderie. No swag, no awards, and no whinning! We will ask everyone to bring some food to share at the aid station and will supplement with with a variety of GU products, and some other special treats. Race results will go to Ultrarunning Magazine, Ultrasignup and Realendurance.com. Ideal trail race for those new to trail running as well as veteran ultra runners, as many people are yet to discover the location and trails. Distances offered: 10K, half-marathon, marathon and 50K. There will be a single aid station at start/finish. Be sure to bring bottle to carry hydration.

Course Description

NEW VENUE for 2012!  We love our Landlocked Forest in Burlington/Lexington but with construction at the Estabrook School we decided to try an exciting new venue this year.  The Great Brook Farms in Carlisle, MA are stunning and will be a perfect New England fall setting for a beautiful trail run.  The course is a 10K loop, is relatively flat, 100% runnable and have the usual roots, rocks and other "trippables" with which to contend.  This is a great course for first-time trail runners as well as veterans who want to set a PR. 10K starts at 8:00 am, all other races start at 8:15 am.  Mandatory trail briefing at 7:45 am.
