Course

An out-and-back course taking you from the Willow Community Center, winding through Willow Area lakes and out to the Willow Swamp and back for half-marathoners, or out to Red Shirt Lake in Nancy Lake Recreation Area and back for the marathoners. The course is almost entirely on winter trails. trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall. 

Virtual Runner

Want to run or support the race but can't come to Willow, Alaska? Join us instead as a virtual runner! We select a marathoner to represent the virtual runners. You receive his/her time, a race t-shirt and finisher award. Follow the website to find our your "time" and to see the photos from your race, taken by your marathoner along the way. In return, your entry fee helps support the race and future winter and summer races in and around Willow, Alaska.
