Description

Quick update on the parking and registration:
When you arrive you can pull in to the dirt lot at the intersection of Division Rd and New London Turnpike to register, drop off gear and canned goods, etc. After that, please move your car to the Park n Ride lot on New London Turnpike just south of I-95 exit 7. There will be cones and a DEM officer to manage runners crossing Division Rd as they go to and from their cars. (It's about 400 yards between the lots).
There will be two partially stocked aid stations (at mile 4.5 and 8) with water, gatorade, and some GU's. If you want to drop a bag you can get driving directions to them at registration. They are both right off Hopkins Hill Rd.
Trails and weather were incredible yesterday!

The finale of the SC 4th Season Race Series! Big River features some of the best singletrack trail in Rhode Island, and at 13.1 miles, this course will include plenty of it. Note that the race starts and finishes a short jog (~400 yds) south of the parking area where New London Turnpike intersects Division Rd (at the green star on map). Please do not park in the dirt lot there. Park in the Park-n-Ride lot and carefully walk or run south to the start location. This avoids having the runners cross Division Rd during the race. There will be two water stops along the course, roughly 1/3 and 2/3 of the way (yellow faucets on map).
