3rd Annual Stampede Trail Run

Registration will open January 2, 2023 for the Stampede Trail Run. This is the 3rd year I have put on this event. The first year we raised over $1,500 and the second year we raised over $3,000. All for the Miller Middle School PTO - Miller Gives Program. This program provides financial assistance to children and their families at Miller Middle School in Durango.
This is a challenging course with fun ups and fun downs. Come challenge yourself and feel good about yourself because you got out and gave to a good cause.

The race starts at Horse Gulch Trail head in Durango, CO. You can click on the name in the banner of the race registration page to take you to the map of the location.

Saturday April 22, 2023

Pre Race:
Morning packet pickup will be from 8:00am-8:50am Saturday morning, April 22. Race day registration from 7:30-8:30am. Pre-race briefing at 8:45am

Race Info:

10k will begin at 9am
5k will begin at 9:10am (after the 10k)

Racer Information:
There are links on the registration page for gpx files to each race if you so desire to have them on your smartwatch or phone. The course will be marked with arrows, spray chalk, and pink flagging.

Course Information:
There may be trail workers near the course but not on the same route. Be aware of them and any equipment they may have lying around. Be safe!

Post Race:
At the finish line there will be refreshments provided. There will also be a raffle drawing for lots of prizes from local businesses in Durango. Please help out the fundraiser and purchase some raffle tickets! Cash, Venmo, Check will be accepted at the finish line tent.
