Group Run Format 
This is not a race. This is not a timed event. The trails will not be marked. This is a non-competitive group run followed by a commercial raft trip. 

Schedule of Events

7:00am - Run start at Skunk Hollow Parking Lot
10:30pm - Run ends and lunch at Greenwood Creek River Access https://goo.gl/maps/x3hJ46y2dc3CZ8VSA
12:00pm - Raft trip start
5:00pm - River trip ends
5:30pm Participants depart in private vehicles.

Registration Includes

Registration fee is $250.00 per person. Registration includes:
Goodie bag with Hammer Nutrition products and a AllWeDoIsRun snapback trucker hat.
Guided and supported 10 mile group run.
Water and aid at mile 6.5.
Picnic lunch.
1/2 day whitewater raft trip with professional river guides and all appropriate equipment.
Refreshments at the raft take out.

Run

Beautiful 5 or 10 mile supported point to point trail run along the South Fork American River Trail. Follow this link for course map and details https://caltopo.com/m/A0K8K

Optional 5 Mile Run Route - Hike in one mile from Cronan Ranch Trailhead on Highway 49 and join the group at mile 6.5. From there, you will run the final 4 miles to Greenwood Creek River Access with the group. Our guides will coordinate this alternative route.

Raft

Professional whitewater raft guide service will be provided. Greenwood Creek to Salmon Falls stretch of whitewater is +9 miles long. It is particularly popular with those seeking to do a longer half-day trip. The trip begins with moderate Class II whitewater, which serves as a warm-up for the exciting rapids in the Gorge.

The first Class III rapid is Fowler’s Rock, recognizable by the large boulder in the middle of the river. Entrance into the Gorge occurs after the third sighting of the “Lollipop Tree,” an odd tree with a circle of leaves, situated on top of a distant hill.

Once boaters enter the gorge, they’re greeted with a series of Class III rapids, including Satan’s Cesspool, Son of Satan’s, Scissors, Bouncing Rock, Pre-Op, Hospital Bar, and Recovery Room. At lower water levels, an additional Class III rapid is Surprise.
