2025 race details
The Pemberton Trail 50k/25k starts at 8:00 AM. The races take place completely on trails in the beautiful McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, Arizona. You'll find amazing scenery, gently rolling hills, great volunteers, and awesome awards for overall, masters, and super masters champions. Come join us for a great day in the desert!
In 2020, Jim Walmsley smashed the previous men's 50k record of 3:11:55, set by Paul DeWitt back in 2007. Jim cut nearly 23 minutes off that time in 2020, finishing in 2:49:03. This might be the fastest course in the country, so don't miss your chance to set a PR!
Weather
In January, Arizona weather can be 35-90 degrees. Be prepared for any weather conditions and dress accordingly.
