Before we talk about all the fun you'll have...
THIS EVENT IS NOT FOR THE NOVICE TRAIL RUNNER
Navigation will be challenging and mostly self-reliant; very few markers will be out for race day. Please have either a printed map (AMC White Mountains Trail Map #4 - Moosilauke - Kinsman Ridge) and the skill to use it or practice following a .gpx file course on your GPS device (watch or phone) in familiar terrain before race day. The course is not "map + compass orienteering" level but it will not be "follow the pink flags every 10 feet" navigation either. Another great option would be to partner with an experienced trail runner and have a rad time learning to find your way through the little-known gnar of the western White Mountains!

2022's first annual Bloobs was a smash!
Just like 2022's "punkass" by-donation style, for 2023 we're aiming for a glow up while keeping the same chill vibe. We added a second mountain!
Black 'N Bloobs Punkass is a suggested donation of $30 to cover the porta-poopers, awesome camping amenities, the sweet Jeffers Hill Farm Barn, aid and proceeds to support Summits In Solidarity.
