COURSE
The course is a 1 mile loop located in Marquette, Ks at the Wolverine Sports Complex. Address is 310 Harold St Marquette, Ks 67464. The course consists primarily of a six foot wide crushed limestone path with a small portion traversing over a grass field. The course is split 50/50 from being in the trees and being in the open.
AID STATION
There will be one aid station on the course at the start/finish of every 1 mile loop. We will have your standard aid station fare along with some soups, broths, and other warm options throughout the night. We will also be CUP-LESS so bring something you can refill. If you'd like to bring something to share, we will have space for shared items as well. You're welcome to stop at your chair/aid as often or as little as you'd like. Runners / Crews will be allowed to setup pop up tents, chairs, etc for self aid in the area by the start finish.
CREW INFO
Crews, tents and canopies ARE allowed in the designated areas which will be clearly marked on race day. This area will be just prior to the completion of the one mile loop. Dogs can be kept in the parking lot area, but will NOT be allowed on the race course. There are no pacers allowed during the event.
DROP BAGS
Bring your crew, chairs and drop bags. Runners will be able to set up on the course just prior to the start/finish area.
CHIP TIMING
Chip timing will be used for the KUS 6/12/24 Hour Run. Your race bib is also your chip for timing purposes. Please do not bend or remove the timing chip from the back of the bib number. Since you will get your bib on race day/night, it is very important that you wear your bib as you start the race. It is also very important for your number to be on the front and visible at the finish line, so please attach it to the outside of any clothing. **IMPORTANT!** You DO need to cross the timing mat at 8:00am (or 8:00pm) at the start of the first lap of your corresponding race start time. Once you have completed your event, please remove your bib and place it inside your vehicle to prevent it from inadvertently calculating additional laps.
AGE LIMIT
All runners under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian either running the race or at the race AT ALL TIMES.
