Mental Health Ultra
If you're reading this, you or someone you know has struggled with mental health illness. When you make the decision to put one foot in front of the other, you're able to see just how fortunate you are.
With the help of Coweta County Parks & Rec we hope to bring to light these issues affecting our families and friends.
All proceeds will be donated to AnotherWay Foundation, Inc. for use within Pathways Center for Mental Health. Pathways Center is a behavioral health care organization serving children, adolescents, and adults - addressing an array of mental health and substance abuse issues.
Donations from this event may be used to sponsor individual counseling sessions for those that do not have the means to pay as well as provide therapeutic interventions such as art therapy, pet therapy, horticultural therapy, and more. https://www.pathwayscsb.org
2021 was a great race day! It was incredible meeting people in the community and hearing how running has changed their lives or who they are running for. Like anything in this sport, you learn as you go. This year I hope to grow this in the community and have an even larger turn out. Have your friends and family come run, walk, or volunteer. There will be fully loaded aid station at the start/finish and a hydration station at mile 3.
The loop will be 6-miles with 450 feet of gain per loop. It is single track rolling hills & runnable for any level of experience. There will be a water aid station at the 3-mile mark & full aid station at the start and finish.
