Race Details

Welcome to the 3RD running of the Bootlegger 100, 40 & 20 mile trail race presented by Revolution Running! This race consists of beautiful gently rolling single track and has been designed with the first timer or PR seeker in mind. The course consists of a 20-mile loop with 4 well stocked aid stations and easy crew access to make this a one of a kind race experience! If you know anything about Rev Run events, you know the swag is going to be top notch!

Race Start Times: 7:30am for the 100 mile & 8am for the 40 mile race and Sunday 8am for the 20 miler.
Cut Off: 100 miles 32 hour, 40 miles 12 hours, 20 miler 7 hours
SWAG: Most important part: all runners will receive an awesome shirt (shirt deadline is March18th) and backpack and all 100 mile runners will get a buckle (to all 100 mile finishers). All finishers will get a super awesome medal. Add on a pair of socks too!
Race Course: 20 mile loop that all 100 milers must complete it 5 times, 40 milers 2 times and once for the 20 miler.
Aid Station: There are 4 aid stations and all will be fully stocked and ready to take care of all runners to help everyone accomplish their goal. Normal aid station snacks and drinks plus hot food in the evening (soup, hotdogs, grilled cheese etc.) Food requests are appreciated!
This race benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center & Indian Springs State Park. We are truly thankful to be able to host races here and showcase their amazing trails.

New For 2025

We moved the start a few miles down the road to Indian Springs State Park to accommodate more parking and crew! We’ll have a full kitchen and more crew set up areas for everyone. We’ve changed the 50 mile race to a 40 mile race and the 10 mile race to a 20 mile race. We added a winner’s purse too!

Guest Speaker/ Pasta Dinner

Our guest speaker this year is ultra superstar Jeff Browning. He’ll show a short movie during the pasta dinner and talk about longevity in the sport. Purchase the prerace pasta dinner for the evening before the race and enjoy a variety of pasta and listen to a 100 mile legend!

Purse

The male & female 100 mile winners in 2025 will each get a $500. Age group winner’s will get $500 too. Three age groups (male & female) 29 & under, 30-44, & 45+.

Racer Setup, Crewing, & Pacing

All runners are welcome to set up any tents and tables for themselves at the start/ finish line. There is a huge area by the shelter that everyone can set up anything that is needed. Crew is welcome to stay for the entire race. Pacers will be allowed at 6pm Saturday. Pacers are not allowed for the 40 and 20 mile race. There is crew access at the Start/ finish area aid (camp 1) and aid station 3 & 4 (camp 3 and it’s the same aid station that’s gone by at mile 13ish & 18). No crew access @ aid station #2 (camp 2).

Hotel Info & Early Packet Pickup

There are a few hotels to choose from off of I-75 that are close to Dauset Trails & Indian Springs. We'll have packet pickup at Indian Springs State Park the Friday before at the shelter from 5-7pm. They offer camping and cabins to rent too. High Falls State Park offers camping and yurts. We'll also offer race day packet pickup @ the start line from 6:15-7:30am for the 100 & 40 and Sunday 6:45-7:30am for the 20 milers.

Refunds

You will receive a 100% refund until December 1st 2024. You can defer to 2026 until January 15th. After that there is no refund.

Mandatory Gear

All runners must have a headlamp before you start a loop after 5:30pm. Also, some form of hydration bottle or pack is required throughout the race. Weather is typically pretty mild with an average high of 71 and low of 51 but this could vary significantly so be prepared for any type of weather.

Race Course

The 20-mile loop is roughly 1500 feet of elevation (7500 feet of gain for the 100 and 3000 feet of gain for the 40). The aid stations are located at mile 6, 13, 18, and mile 20 (start and finish). There is roughly 1.5 of paved roads, 1 mile of gravel roads, and the rest is spectacular single track trail on each loop.

Anyone who runs any of the Huff N Puff Trail races in January and any of the Bootlegger Races in April will get an additional awesome medal- The Dauset Double!
