About
Lake Yahou was just opened up in May 2022 for recreational use. We are lucky enough to be the first trail race starting at the lake. If you ran our McClellan Madness race, then you are familiar with the other side of the mountain where we will have an aid station.
The trails are comprised of non-technical, single-track dirt. Obviously, it’s nature, so there are rocks and roots. The trail is very runnable for new and seasoned trail runners.

Perks, Awards, Finish
Everyone who signs up by September17th will be guaranteed a T shirt. We are now offering female style shirts for those that prefer the female cut. Size cannot be guaranteed so if you haven’t ordered a female cut before, I suggest you size up (one or two). This year’s shirt will be a long sleeve T-shirt.
As always, our medals are handmade. Each finisher will receive a medal for the distance they signed up for. If you drop to the lower distance during the race, you will not get a medal. You won’t leave empty handed though; I’ll gladly give you one hell of a high five.
Awards will be given out for the top three female finishers and top three male finishers for both distances. You will not be considered for a top award if you drop to a lower distance mid race.
Finish line will have music, food (vegan options) and beverages. Come hang out and enjoy the party afterwards. You deserve it. If you are vegan, please select that option during registration (helps with a head count).
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be at Mellow Mushroom in Oxford on Friday, October 6, 2022 from 4-7pm. If you are unable to pick up your packet on Friday, race day pick up will be available at the start from 6:45am-7:45am.
