Join us in 2023!
The Fatdog 120 is, first and foremost, passionate about equipping people to reach their life goals. No matter what distance, it is our commitment to come alongside every racer and get them to the finish line. We strive to achieve this by offering a hospitable, inclusive, memorable and fun event that is also extremely challenging. Fatdog 120 is also very active in the maintenance and care of the extensive trail network that is used for our event. We recognize that it is a great privilege to run on these trails and it is one way of giving back to the outdoor community at large. Many of the trails incorporated have rich history connected to the area now known as British Columbia.
Course overview
Beginning near the town of Keremeos, British Columbia, in Cathedral Provincial Park and finishing in iconic E.C. Manning Provincial Park, the course is 124 Miles long, incorporating a point-to-point style route. Cumulative elevation gain is just over 26,240 feet or 8000 meters. The majority of the course is run on very remote technical single track trail. Much of the course is far from road access and will take you through some of the absolute most scenic parts of southwestern British Columbia. You will travel from valley bottoms up into high sub-alpine terrain with many panoramic views along the way. Not "just" 100 miles!!
This year's event will see the 120 mile start on Friday August 11, 2023, while the 100 km, 50 mile and 40 mile will start Saturday August 12, 2023. For more information including route maps and full weekend schedule, see our website - https://www.fatdog120.ca/
