The Why
The Fall River Bioreserve is the beautiful backdrop to our Annual Campaign kick-off where you can WALK. the Tattapanum Trail (about 1.1 miles) or 5K route, RUN. a 5K or 10 mile route through the trails, or RIDE. a 10 mile or 20 mile course through the gravel roads of the conservation land. Whether you’re pursuing healthy habits, seeking community connections, or just want to support our Annual Campaign (or all three!), the trail race checks all the boxes.
And the fun doesn't stop there! Once walkers, runners, and riders cross the finish line the festivities begin with live music from Louis Leeman & Co providing the soundtrack to all the fun! Each registration gets you a *FREE* food and drink ticket to use at the Avo’s Feast Food Truck for a breakfast sammie and hot drink. The Trustees Mobile Adventure Van will be on-site with fall ecology activities, Studio Life will have “encouragement rocks” to paint, and Mass in Motion will have some free helmets to give away along with info for staying healthy and active.
Register today to get in on the action! Your support of the 5th Annual United We Move Trailfest helps fund Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Stability, and Community Resiliency programs throughout Greater Fall River allowing everyone to join together, Leading the Way, to a brighter future where everyone can thrive.
Please Note: Day of registration is available - Cash, check, and Venmo only will be accepted. No swag or packets will be mailed. No refunds will be given. The event will run rain or shine. Dogs are allowed but MUST be on leashes for the ENTIRE event.

The Walk Courses
The Tattapanum trail is a lovely lollypop shaped route that's super-walkable and family friendly or folks can join in on the 5K fun. Roots and rocks are prevalent, though there is little incline or decline on the loop.
The Tattapanum loop itself is about a mile long so the distance presented includes the walk to and from our staging area.
Walkers MUST stay to the side of the road as runners and cyclists are using the same road at the same time.
The Run Courses
Join us for a 5K or 10 mile RUN through the rough roads and trails in the Fall River Bioreserve. You'll find a mix of rough paved roads, dirt and sand roads, grassy trails, and some rocky sections on the loop. There's very little elevation on this course, making it FAST for those looking to race.
The Ride Courses
Hop on your bike for a 10 or 20 mile RIDE through the forest. Due to the rough (sometimes muddy!) roads and trails, this route MUST be done on a gravel bike or mountain bike. That said, the 10 and 20 mile routes are supremely rideable even for novice riders looking to try out their first gravel ride! If you're an experienced rider, both are fun courses to race through wide fire roads, grassy trails, and a little bit of single track.
