Race Details

Come join us April 1, 2023, for the 4th Annual Rattling Creek Run (RCR). Rattling Creek Run is located in Weiser State Forest in the Haldeman Tract. This location is about 40 minutes NE of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

For our 2023 event, we are offering 30K and 10K distance options. We will NO LONGER offer the 50K version that we've done in the past. With taking out the 50K option, this allows for our 30K version to have more singletrack. The 30K will now have 3 miles less of gravel road in the route and allow for 4 more miles of singletrack trail.

Course Cutoff

There is no cutoff for the 10K course.

The 30K course will have 8 hours to complete.
The Aid Station cutoffs are as follows
Aid Station #1 No Cutoff Time
Aid Station #2 11:30 AM
Aid Station #3 2:00 PM

Awards and medals

We will offer awards to the top 3 men and women for each distance. We will not have awards for the age categories. However, we will show finish positions for age groups on the results. Each finisher will receive a finisher medal.

Drop Bags

We will offer drop bags for our aid stations. Keep in mind, we cannot promise when we can get these back to you at the finish though. So do not put anything in the drop bags that you are not ok leaving. You would also have the option to drive to the aid stations to pick it up after the race if you do not want to wait for them to return.
