Race Info:
Race starts at 8am for those who sign up for the 6 Hour Challenge. There will be an 11am start for the 3 Hour Challenge. Race will be held at Shelter 14, Wyandotte County Lake Park.
Come hungry for a tough competitive race, and hungry for some great post race food and drinks provided by Whiskey River Pizza & Pub and finisher beer (N/A options available as well).
There will also be a custom brewed beer on tap from a local brewery you will not find anywhere else!
The course is a 3 mile loop that will be repeated for the duration, be it 6 hours or 3 hours. The course is on the bridle loop at Wyco lake park and involves a bit of "easy" running on some rolling trail and across a field, but also entails some difficult descents and hills. This is a tough loop! So be prepared... isn't called a challenge for nothing! If you can somehow manage to run over 50k on this loop in 6 hours (or 3) there will be a special award for ultra finishers in this event. Only 11 individuals have done this in the past! The loop is at least 700ft+ elevation gain per lap... meaning if you take this to 50k you'll be looking at a whopping 8,000ft+ elevation!
This is the approximate loop, but there will be a little more added from the start line to where this segment starts... so 3 miles, and 750+ gain.

Registration:
Prices will change as time gets closer to the event for the 6 hour and the 3 hour event. Will include aid, LOTS of catered food, and beer.
Anyone signed up by 1/23/26 is GUARANTEED proper sizing and all Swag. We did order a LOT of extra swag, but don't delay too long!
There will also be race day signup, cash or crypto (make sure your cell works there) only. $100 for day of gets you finisher sticker and all aid/beer/post-race food. To receive swag with race day signup, cost is $120 if we still have beanies and shirts available.

There will be awards for 1st male and female in both distances.
