About the event
Snakebite is a fast 10k/20k run almost entirely (95%) on trails in the beautiful McDowell Mountain Regional Park, located just outside of Fountain Hills, Arizona. Come out for the scenery and stay for the food and friendship afterward. This course has gently rolling hills and great volunteers. Join us for a great day in the desert!

McDowell Mountain Cup Series - race #3
For those who want more of a wintertime challenge, the Snakebite 10k/20k is the 3rd and final race in the McDowell Mountain Cup series. Run the Pemberton Trail 50k or 25k on Jan. 24th, the Stoneman Trail 14k on Feb. 7, then finish with the Snakebite 20k or 10k to win the coveted Cup. You may choose either the longer or shorter distances at Pemberton Trail and Snakebite to be eligible. Challenge yourself and invite your friends!
