Miami 100

We are happy to announce that the Miami 100 miler is now an official preferred qualifier for Badwater 135™

Important Crew Rule: If you have not finished the Miami 100 in the past, you must have a crew. The mandatory crew rule only applies to the Miami 100 miler.

On Saturday, September 28, 2024 race through an urban style 100 miler running through the beautiful sights of Miami, Florida. You will be running through some of Miami's hottest neighborhoods; Wynwood, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Calle Ocho, Coconut Grove, Brickell and more.

The course will wind through some of Miami's most historical and scenic areas. You will run through farmlands, historical neighborhoods, down Ocean Drive, the lively Calle Ocho and many other of Miami's secret and not-so-secret gems.

Runners will be 100% dependent on their crew. We will allow runners that have previously completed the race to run unsupported using drop bags if they wish to do so. There are no aid stations, only checkpoints. Runners will need to navigate their way throughout the city by following their directional cards with step-by-step directions to each checkpoint to receive their next batch of directions. The course map will not be available beforehand. Part of the challenge and uniqueness of this race will be to navigate the directions given and to successfully reach the next checkpoint for further directions on the course. (Think Amazing Race minus the crazy challenges- because running 100 miles should be enough of a challenge ;) )

The first portion of the course map will be available race morning. The rest of the course map will be given to runners and crew as they check-in along the race between certain manned checkpoints that will be placed along the route; approximately every 15 - 20 miles.

Race Check-in and packet pick up - Friday 9/27 between 3:00pm - 7:00pm

There will be a race briefing for all runners and crew - Friday 9/27 at 6:30pm. This meeting is mandatory for any runner and crew that has not participated in a Miami Ultra Race Series beforehand. We will cover safety rules for runners and crew and how to use your directional cards and crew directions during the race.

Race Start - Saturday 9/28 at 5:00am

The course time limit will be 32 hours. The finish line will remain open until Sunday 9/29 at 1:00 pm

All pre-race activities (check-in and meeting) and post-race festivities, including the Start Line & Finish Line, will take place at Hero Martial Arts at 17049 S. Dixie Hwy. Palmetto Bay, Fl 33157.
